Base stat total must be under 375 for your starter. Psyduck and Elekid are good.

I have got rid of that. They are not resistant to Normal and if their base stat total is under 375 they are not overpowered.

Sorry, but Cranidos is Rock type and therefore unfair against the numerous normal attacks.
Growlithe has 350BST, it is good.
